never mind. carry on.

Interesting that the link on the first page of this thread still works, but is not available on the Frontier website. There is no pilot position under "View our current opportunities" and under "Frontier Airlines Pilot Hiring Event" they only ask for an email of a resume. Or am I missing something?

Kind of a strange application, but really easy. Nowhere did it ask for any pilot stuff. The only indication that I'm even a pilot is my most current employer and position.

Did you upload a resume? There's a page in the application process for uploading and parsing a resume, but for the life of me it seems to appear kind of, um, randomly.

Weirdly, there's no way to remove an attached/uploaded file and I'm guessing the confirmation of a successful upload isn't very clear, which is why I have three attached resumes a despite my best efforts to get it back down to one. :-)

Wow, it took only 12 hours to get the "Thanks but no thanks" email. The email itself is not unexpected, but why so quickly?

I'm very curious about this, because like I said in previous post - there wasn't much in the application to distinguish me from any other pilot.

Maybe it is one of those deals where they need a small class and plan to grab them all via powerful internal recs, but for the sake of propriety must post the vacancy to the public?

Whatever helps me sleep at night :)

Same... its like they woke up and had the denied stamp ready. I think they knew who they were hiring before they posted it.

Actually, Frontier's operating revenues, stand-still, exceed $1billion. So I believe they are considered a "Major".

The Frontier Pilots just received an email about hiring and sending in recommendations. If you got the rejection email I would reapply. Unless you don't meet the mins and were rejected based on that.

So if A Skywest has an operating revenue of 1 billion are we going to call them a major as well! I am just trying to figure out the ever changing definition of what a "major" airline is.

I'd like to know the date that the definition of a major was conjured up and then correct that billion dollar figure for today's dollars.
