Unfortunately true of far too many of our crews. Bury your head in the sand, pretend everything is great. If faced with undeniable evidence, lash out. I guess if I got hoodwinked that hard by management I'd be in denial also. Meanwhile our "peers" consider us a joke. Sad!

Show me where in my post I'm drinking the koolaid. I credit as close to 70 hours every month as possible (while usually flying significantly less), follow the contract to a T, have never taken a JA, and have filed more than my fair share of grievances. My point was kicking someone while they are down is not an honorable thing to do. Instead of trolling why don't you do something positive. I'd love to have this discussion with you guys at our picketing next month, that is if you're comfortable enough to leave the "safe space" of anonymously hiding behind your keyboard.

Shame on you for ridiculing a groups show of solidarity.
Btw that hat you make fun of has been worn by hundreds of people in this industry showing the same solidarity long before your time.
ALPA required it on the line at one time.
Maybe you'd be better suited at a carrier without representation.

Wow.. I usually lurk, but this level of brain dead requires a response. So, you think collective actions which damage the operation are advisable, which are 100% illegal under the RLA? But, a collective action, which is 100% legal under the RLA, which can show solidarity of collective action (shows management "this is our resolve, and this is what a strike will look like"), which can be a great show for the media (which is not a good thing for a company that may want to IPO), and is probably the best UNITY building event that has ever been conceived, is just "mindless circles, achieving nothing"... were you dropped on your head? Did your mom drink heavily while pregnant? UNITY is what will achieve this contract. Pick up Flying the Line 1 and 2 if you'd like to buy a clue.

Speaking of unity... how about we actually start wearing those orange lanyards? So many pilots are still wearing the Frontier, FAPA and Broncos lanyards. Perhaps reps, P2P volunteers, or even line pilots could be sent extras to hand out to those that have "just been too busy".
