Every airline in the history of airlines has sucked at some point... If there were message boards 35 or 40 years ago, there would be delta and southwest pilots saying, "don't come here!! This place sucks!!"... Just to offer some perspective here, half the world, around 4.5 billion people or so, make less than $2 a day... There are maybe 100,000 airline pilots in the us... That puts all of us in a very unique and impressive spectrum... Now you're going to say, "you're what's wrong with the industry... You're one of those *******s that's just happy to be paid to fly a plane." That couldn't be further from the truth... I think it's laughable and pathetic that a group of people could cite "economic conditions" as a reason for not giving the lowest paid pilots in the industry a pay bump, especially when we're one of the most profitable airlines... Management is doing their job and doing it well... They lack integrity and they're selfish but there's nothing I can do... If it gets to the point where I hate my job that much, I'll quit... In the end, I think they're shooting themselves in the foot but time will tell... If we directed the time and effort we put into these message boards toward our ultimate goal, we'd really get something done...

The best thing that can happen to any of us that are at Frontier long term if another call doesn't come, is for people to vote with their feet. For every pilot that leaves this place, all the better. The company will continue to think we are content with a substandard contract as long as classes get filled and staffing is fine. Eventually (hopefully) the burden of the training contract albatross and an LOA 67 negotiation that is clearly going to be nasty (not to mention the CBA bargaining negotiations) is going to cause people to stay away. And the realization that many (me included) would have made more at my regional in the first 3 years than I will at frontier will start to factor in. Why would you come here when you can go to Allegiant (easily within our peer group) and make 96/hr second year and 216/hr top end and get the Bus type. The only place that Frontier is good for is those that live in base. 3 in my class have left after close to a year, and I hope more follow. I used to pause about the idea of staying/going if another call came, but I don't think there should be any doubt for anyone anymore.

I'd certainly rather be in the position of voting on an uncertain TA involving top end pay of 232/hr than getting an email that due to 'challenging economic conditions' the company wants the pilot group to take backward steps on the worst Airbus contract in the industry.

I attended our unions presentation of the TA in Vegas this week. Vegas is one of our first and most senior of bases with a large cross section from either side of the seniority list. The room was packed, and judging from the positive feed back around that room, along with talking one on one with a few of our pilots since. This TA is going to pass. The internet peanut gallery is not representative of how the vote will go down.

Current economic conditions preclude me from using my phone. Times are tough out there guys, and I'm on a fixed wireless plan!!!! Also, I'll be acars'ing MCC for ALL issues, large and small. ZERO fight crew placarding on my birds. I'm not a mechanic and I'm not gonna pretend to be one. I would suggest you follow the FOM and do the same. My burner phone is for the ho's in Vegas.

I agree 100%, no extentions for any reason, no FCP, not going to shutdown engines for any reason, if BRK rels fuel is met back to the gate. If they want to play games, then games we shall play.

My opinion, that's going to be a sticking point at Frontier.
