I don't think anyone should be surprised regarding the fact that this is going to take a long time.

Your post tells me that you don't pay much attn or just like to complain. If you read the newsletter again, you'll clearly see they mentioned Crew Trac, deadhead seating and city pair modification, buffers, and parking. I personally think that's a pretty large chunk for two days, and if you've been paying attention to anything else they've mentioned along the way, you'd understand the strategy (small items/large items) Be mindful that if you're spreading bad info, you're part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Well....I have been paying attention! We have been in negotiations for almost a year and we are now just coming to agreements on the "low hanging fruit"? Good news is our next meeting is 6 weeks away. Perhaps we can come to some agreements on Seniority and management displacements! At this pace 2020 looks like a realistic timeline for us to wrap this up.

You are so out of line. After a year of negotiations and possibly the worst company opener in the history of our segment of the industry, we are still covering items that have zero cost to F9. I deadhead a lot and have never once been forced to sit in a middle seat mostly because the good seats cost extra and our pax are on a budget. How many Frontier commuters have you left behind in your time here? I can't think of a single one in almost three years. Parking? Parking! Wow I'm sure that will be groundbreaking. I try to stay positive but please don't come on here and disparage others for their dismay at the lack of progress we've seen over the last year. It's going to take a strike or the imminent threat of one to move the needle in any meaningful way. Always has and always will.

I currently pay $600 a year out of pocket for parking. 100% not reimbursed by the company, and can't get parking at an airport that id like to commute out of, because the company refuses to do the paperwork. Parking is a big issue for me personally. I can't always itemize and 600 bucks is 600 bucks.

Personally I was glad to see parking issues were being addressed. I'll bet we are getting closer to about 50% of our pilot group being commuters, so yeah it's an important issue. No offense intended.

I agree. I wish that wasn't the case. But when you look at Indigos previous negotiations with Spirit, I think we can go ahead and expect a long drawn out fight.

Unless the union pushes a sub-par contract in hopes of getting it done sooner. Which I have to admit that I'm a little concerned about.

This is nothing new in this industry gang. It's been going on since the start of the airline industry.

How long did UPS just negotiate for their new contract? I think it was around 7 years.
SWA just wrapped up 4 years of negotiations.

Unfortunately that's the game. Get used to it. Be prepared to see it through.

I'm not sure but do other airlines pay for parking out of base?
My buddy at AA pays for his parking at the base he commutes out of also.
