Frontier non-revving/JS
I tried unsuccessfully today to list myself standby on one of their flights by phone as a OAL (I work for AA). What is their procedure? Can you just show up at the gate?
Thanks in advance. |
Frontier Airlines (F9) operates Airbus 319, 320 & 321 aircraft with two cockpit jumpseats. Pilot crew bases are DEN, ORD and MCO flying to U.S. and International destinations. We welcome pilots then dispatchers from airlines we have reciprocal agreements with on a first come, first serve, at the gate availability. We HIGHLY recommend listing online prior to check-in. The number of jumpeaters are limited only by the number of cabin seats available, plus the two cockpit jumpseats.
ACMs MUST check-in / request a “ride” with the CAPTAIN regardless of Cockpit or cabin seat assignment. If occupying the actual jumpseat - you must present your credentials to the captain, please have your documents in hand. Domestic - OAL/ACM are allowed in the cabin (CASS not required) or in the cockpit with CASS approval. Pilots occupying the cockpit jumpseat are required present company ID, airman certificate, and current medical. Arrive and check-in at the gate no later than twenty minutes prior to departure. International (Applicable taxes will be charged) - OAL/ACM are allowed in the cabin only. Check-in at the ticket counter or service center no later than one hour prior to departure to pay taxes and check-in at the gate no later than forty-five minutes prior to departure. Flight attendant jumpseat - Frontier crew members may occupy the flight attendant jumpseat, offline crews are prohibited from occupying the flight attendant jumpseat per FAA. ATTIRE - Uniform, business or business casual required. RECOMMEND LISTING - Listing for a flight is HIGHLY recommended. Frontier uses ID90TRAVEL (different than myidtravel). If your requested to create a user/log in, you are not in the correct place. List via https://www.id90travel.com as shown below. Select Login (top right) Airline: Enter your airline Employee Number: xxemp (all lower case xx = your airline two letter/digit code) Password: ### (three digit prefix) Finding/Selecting Flights Select Flights from the top Under the Listing Tool Tab (may be grayed out) Reason for travel = Pilot Commuting Transporting Airline = Frontier (F9) Select segments(s) Enter Employee Information: Pilots employed by airlines not listed on ID90 may be able to call the Frontier Airlines reservation number at (800) 432-1359 to list. Routes, schedules and flight information can be found at www.flyfrontier.com . We are sorry there is no way to provide load information for non-employees at this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Frontier Airlines’ FAPA Jumpseat Coordinators through your airlines jumpseat committee. |

Doesn't work for all airlines....for example that doesn't work for Delta. |
U can list at the gate unless the gate agent is PMSing
|
It probably works for Delta and you're using the wrong login info. Contact your jumpseat committee I'm sure they will be able to provide correct login info.

Disregard. They seem to have fixed it for dl. When I tried a few months ago frontier wasn't an option but it works now

Listing is NOT required but....
The average IQ of our gate staff has dropped tremendously from outsourcing. If you walk up to the gate and they say you must list, they are lying, too lazy or probably NOT trained properly. Adjust your strategy accordingly. Good luck! Btw plz provide feed back through your jumpseat committee in case you hit snags

F9 Capt. denies XCM to Express Pilot
The F9 pilot group needs to have one of those “talks” with one of their own. I witnessed an Express pilot that was cleared for CASS on F9 flight 250, DEN – IAH on 03 June being denied XCM by Capt. Leonard M. He was the only jumpseater for that flight and the agent was having trouble relisting him for a seat in the back. Instead of accommodating this quiet and respectful FO in the cockpit and despite the best efforts by the F9 FO the Capt. denied him jump seat. This Capt. has been around long enough to know how the system works but I guess he doesn’t commute or has never needed to get any where. I’m hoping a few of the F9 pilots have a little talk with him and bring him back into the fold. The other 99% of you guys and gals are a great group and always go out of your way to help anyone hitch a ride.
