Retention Program?
Just curious if anyone has any idea what GoJets plan is to retain myself and the other direct entry captains now that the rumors have started that Endeavor is considering street captains.
If the TA at Endeavor passes then first year Captain pay is over $88hr. Even if a pilot has to wait 3 months to upgrade they will still make more in the year than 2nd year captain pay at GoJet.(especially if they get an FO Bonus)
Endeavor allows commuting during the reserve period and I believe the earliest report on day 1 is 1300 (unconfirmed). So no commuting the night before to be in place for a 0300 RAP.
Speaking of commuting 9E has priority over the rest of us for the mainline jumpseat.
In the last year I have flown 300hrs, 100 of that has been in the right seat. Endeavor doesn't fly captains in the right seat.
Delta Guaranteed Interview vs a flow to spirit, enough said.
Just saying GoJet better come up with something creative soon or I'll be a DTW based captain for Endeavor instead of GoJet by March. (assuming a January class date)

9E here, I don't know if you have been given bad info but I would not expect to get DTW as a captain anytime quickly at Endeavor. Just looked at the bid pack, and the bottom guy is a October 2015 hire. If I were you I would expect NYC or ATL as a captain.

What is the min day at 9E? GoJet is 4 hours, but we currently have the report and release cut outs. We voted to get rid of the cutoffs, but they just can't seem to get it implemented.
Is the no earlier than 1300 report on day 1 of reserve real or just rumor?
This is all assuming the TA passes of course.

Thanks for the info. ATL would be even better as a commuter, but I realistically expect NYC. For an extra $18 an hour, plus jumpseat priority, and better reserve/work rules it will probably be worth it.

1300 report is a rumor, you can use your call out time to commute in. The only way to get a 1PM report on first day is to bid Ready Reserve first day on P2 which starts at 1PM, but there is no guarantee you get that.

You'll never hold DTW as a captain, unless you're here for 10+ years.

2) One of the things in this TA is co-domicile for JFK and LGA
3) The vote is from November 1st through November 21st.
