Does anyone actually like GoJet?
I was interested in going to GoJet and specifically the RDU base but I read so much negativity. Are there any FO's that actually like it here? Are all the happy people busy being happy and leaving only disgruntled people here to complain?
I am a few months away from actually going to training but I had pretty positive impressions before reading here. I addition I also talked with a friend who is a TSA pilot, he mentioned Gojet lost a huge Delta contract that really impacts RDU. Can some level headed people comment please? Thanks |

Thanks If you live in RDU and want stability, I suggest Endeavor. I also work there so I am biased. Even if it doesn’t open as a base, it’s the easiest commute in the world to ATL or NYC and you can expect lots of RDU overnights if you bid for them. |
I work here and I say stay away from this place many better options in the market.

Thanks I’m a current FO at GoJet, been here about 1 and half, getting ready to upgrade, really enjoy it here, never had an issue with anything. All regionals have issues, it’s all what you make out of it though. If you want more info you can message me. |

Don't be scared of GoJet. I started my airline career with them after giving up on the airlines 10 years prior. I had my complaints, but really enjoyed my short stent there. I only left to pursue a specific career path. A specific challenge for me being so fresh again to flying was flying with so many street captains from different airlines. It felt like every trip was for a different airline.
flydiamond makes some good points about commuting. GoJet was a good commute airline for me, and it makes life better when either not commuting or have a good commuter policy. $0.02 |

I say if you live in Raleigh then go jet is a good pick. I enjoy the outdoors And wanted to live in Denver and not have to commute Or fly a 50 seater so that really narrowed down my choices. Not commuting is a HUGE factor in all in this industry. Obviously there are better paying airlines out there right now. But the airline industry is moving so quick that even a contract that came out a year ago is extremely outdated. When G7s current contract came out it was top pay. But like I said everything is moving so fast in this industry these days. I’ve been here just over a year now and really have no complaints. Never been junior manned only been extended a few times. I think g7 has a pretty dark past but over the past couple of years I think management has been trying to change things for the better and fix their tarnished rep. All in all I’ll I’ve enjoyed my time here so far. I’ll upgrade quick and be on to bigger and better things a lot quicker than other regional guys out there. PM me if you have any other questions.
