Plan on roughly 90 days of training. We are not having any delays.
I believe AQP begins after completion of your initial checkride for First Officers. DEC's begin AQP after completing a Proficiency Training event a few months after initial.
I believe our training has nine sims minimum.
Feel free to private message me as well.

Is G7 getting any additional planes for United or Delta in the near future or is hiring not keeping up with current staffing? I have a CFI friend that wants to move to RDU. Thanks for the help.

we have no rumors of more planes. as of now but the current climate especially after EDV got their contract we are no keeping up with staffing. There is also movement vertically to majors but the biggest hit was to EDV at the end of last year.

We have no plans of growth, hiring is only for attrition. We have 24 new-hire pilots in training between our two classes this month and plan to continue that for the forseeable future. RDU has fantastic schedules, your friend should be quite happy with that base.

No. The official message from the union was that the company and the union were too far apart.

What I hear is that the company actually expected the GoJet pilots to accept concessions to other sections of the contract in order to obtain the new rates.
During a time of a pilot shortage, just before the heavy summer flying, and after watching 21+ pilots walk out the door in a month, the management of this airline actually had the audacity to ask for concessions. The union representatives (rightly in my option) declined to entertain the notion and negations were ended.

This tactic by the company implies a couple of possibilities.
Either they are completely oblivious to the ongoing shortage and have completely forgotten the summer of 300%.
Or they know something we don’t. Such as perhaps the Delta flying will not be around much longer and they don’t need to retain as many pilots.
Either way pilots have already begun leaving again and Endeavor will most likely be getting more 700 flying. Either by design or by necessity when G7 starts cancelling.

Hi Jason, I'm trying to get ahold of someone in HR. I have left messages for Alicia, Sydney and Laura and no one bothers to call or email me back.
