G7 delta contract extended
For the past couple months there have been a ton of rumors ( from people outside of the company) that we our losing our delta flying. Just so it’s understood by all the rumor rats in apc all delta birds were extended 7 years this past November.

You are correct.
|
If this is true then why hasn’t it been posted since last November? Why would it take half a year and a flow to spirit air to make that happen?
|
The trolls on the 9E page are already freaking out.

So what about your UAL flying?
Also, just because you have a CPA doesn't mean that that saves you. Remember you're dealing with Mother D. Also, isn't it strange that your company hasn't done a press release stating that nor your website. |
Maybe I am wrong, but wouldn’t a press release come out about flying being lost? I mean that is all the press releases that I have seen. If flying being kept is a press release story, then there would be something every time a contract is up for negotiation. If something drastic changes, then yes, there is usually a press release. The status quo continues with the Delta flying. Who cares.
I have known about it for months and can confirm it as well from multiple sources. |
Press release by end of month. You will be happy

If Delta/GoJet does do a press release regarding the extension the only purpose behind it will be to create the illusion of stabilization. Delta wants to protect its summer flying and it can’t do that if pilots keep leaving GoJet because of the low wages and imminent threat that Delta may take back their 700s. This exstension is nothing more than a method of creating false hope. Like when I tell a girl in the club I want to spend the whole next day with her. Chances are I’m gonna change my mind after I get what I want. Was Expressjets cpa expired when Delta took those airplanes? I don’t believe so. This cpa will have a lot of caveats that Delta can exploit to terminate the contract early if they so choose. I’m willing to bet that one of the major caveats is based on GoJets on time performance and ability to properly staff the flying. Which will continue to suffer as long as we have low wages and a management team that continues to look for new ways to undermine the CBA. GoJet pilots and the airline in general is no safer now than it was a week ago. |
