The information above about XJT probably getting the 25 -175’s as well as the fact that they will replace 25 -700’s at another UAX carrier is public knowledge. If that happens and GoJet is the loser (most likely as they have 25 -700’s on the UAX contract), GoJet will be over staffed.
The good news is that those pilots losing jobs at GoJet will most likely find other jobs in the industry. But you don’t wont to be locked in with a contract if it happens.
It’s like playing the stock market. Is the above guaranteed? No, but you need to do your research and make the best move with public information.

Xjet getting the 25 remains speculation since United has not announced anything. Xjet management has said the United management promised them the 25 with a long term TA in place. It would be suicide for Xjet management to lie, but it wouldn’t be the first time. October will be a watershed month for Xjet.
Also, the TA is hardly "long-term" at 3 years.

I agree. I view XJT as the stock that has been beaten down and has the potential for explosive growth for those jumping in now... if things fall into place. If things don't fall into place it will be one of the biggest implosions of a regional in memory and the UAL feeder system will take a major hit.
Also, the TA is hardly "long-term" at 3 years.

We have heard that 20-30 of our 60 Ejets are moving to a new base for us in ORD so the E175SC’s that Xjet is getting will be placed in IAH initially.

It really is still speculation it is GoJet’s 700’s. The 700’s could be a split between GoJet and Mesa, but unlikely. We will all know next month.

We heard there is more of a need for 76 seaters in ORD and 70 seaters in IAH. United also doesn’t like that our planes and pilots are all concentrated in a single base. Last year, Harvey played havoc with our operations.
