You start with an opening cadre of pilots, say 16-20, that go through training. ExpressJet gets green on green regulations waived. The planes will take a while for conformity checks and will likely be listed in the fleet in June. So, a January/February public announcement is soon enough. Enough time for pilots to bid and start training in March.
I am assuming the Ejets will come on at a 2 per month rate starting in June. I am guessing that is the same rate and timing the CRJ700’s will depart.

I don't think it was a coincidence that management asked for accelerated Section 6 negotiations a week after Kalitta came in and started hiring away pilots. I'm willing to put a beer on the announcement happening soon after the TA passes.
