11.5ish for new hires without outside attrition, so probably 9-10 with.

I got hired when it was supposed to be “four to five” years... it’s going to be around 7-8.

I don’t regret coming to Piedmont, but several things have changed with bases and flow increases at the other WO since I got hired. If I knew then what I know now I would have gone to PSA.

Makes no sense for 9E to run three 700s. Also add in that Delta wants to avoid a long drawn out transition of aircraft from one company to another like what happened with ASA because the disruption in service when the news comes it will be min time to get the aircraft here and we are staffed to take them.
Still would be drawn out, old 700s that will have to go through a heavy/conformity check.
3 a month tops, it won’t be cheap either.

The “gotta be quick to take them over, faster than express jet planes” is just management rah rah. The express jet planes were conformed at a fast clip.

A fast conformity clip is about 30-35 days though. Depending on the shop doing it.

75 is probably realistic - time and cost is what this boils down too

And that’s because BA does not have parts, mechs, kept running into a/c, say an a/c is ready just to have a crew do an OCF to find its not.
