Why Gojet? They are losing their United flying. I don't think they will go out of business but I think their United flying will be moving to American somewhere down south, DFW or Miami, maybe St Louis.
Skywest will give you credit for time at your past airline and FO pay at Skywest is almost the same as captain pay at Gojet when you take into account the bonus, overtime and work rules.
My understanding is Gojet's sounds like the same but is not. If you have 3 years at another airline, at skywest you start on 4th year pay, then go to 5, 6 etc. At Gojet you start at 4th also, but then you stay at 4th until your 5th year at Gojet.
Skywest has something like 16 bases and is adding more. They treat their people right. Don't forget Republic and Endeavor.

Nothing is for sure. United could get scope relief in their next pilot contract, take some of the regional flying back to mainline, order more small narrow bodies, or else some or all of those 175s could be deferred to a later date. Those are just a few things that COULD happen. There seems to be a lot of know it alls on this forum who think they can predict the future.

25 175SC’s have been ordered to replace 45 of the 700’s by United. Deliveries start in April 2019 and go through the end of 2019. Small narrow bodies haven’t been ordered by United.
You are banking on relief from United’s pilot union or United deferring the 175SC’s (a plane they love) or some other miracle to avoid loss of aircraft.

UA’s Union is smart enough to not give on scope. They know there’s thousands just waiting to fly those shiny new jets on their routes for half the pay.
The regional model is a scam, actually. It’s like a pyramid scheme, and people keep buying into it.

Lots of things could happen. But here are facts:

I see a lot of complaining by the masses.
