Default New to GoJets

Hello everyone,
So I just accept offer from GoJets. I’m in California. I have my class date in March 2019.
I have few questions if someone can help me to answer it. That would be great. I really appreciate for your time.

I don’t know my base yet but I been told that I’ll know my Base just a month before my IOE. Also I really don’t want to move from California.

Can someone tell me how does the schedule works who decide to commute? (Any example for Reserve Pilot as well as Line pilot schedule)

I been told they still do offer $10K after completion of IOE and $10K after 6 months peppery as mention on their website.

but I need to know how much do FO makes as reserve pilot and as line pilot.

What are the current upgrade time at GoJets?

1. Its GoJet (no S)
2. You best option is a Denver base and you will commute. There have been a few new hires getting DEN out of IOE but you will be on reserve for a bit.
3. Reserve starts as long call (12 hour call-out) and can be converted to short call twice a month(2 hour call-out).
4. Your bonus is based on your date of hire and what they are offering. Not sure what is is these days.
5. My FO pay answer is outdated. So I'm not sure about that but the pay rate*75 is what you should expect plus ur bonus

Thank you

So let’s say if I’m on Reserve long call (12 hrs) or (2 hrs call) am I end up going to Denver a days before and paying my own hotel room?
I know they offer hotel for 4 days / month. You think it will be enough or am I spending out of pocket?

How was your monthly trip when you were on Reserve?

Honestly I got lucky I have been here for a while and mostly avoided reserve. Denver is the most senior base but it seems like a few new hires have been getting lines. It's a crap shoot the hotels month to month may cover your trips but I can depend. On short call you may not be used and your hotels could be gone in a few days.

Pm for more information

West Coast means Skywest.

Upgrade time requires an airline to be in business long enough to upgrade.

Endeavor, Envoy, Skywest, PSA, Republic and even Mesa are better choices in my view. Even TSA and Compass are better but bad too.

Think GoJet will lose the Delta flying?

Not quite sure why he would make this decision either. I guess if he gets his type rating, he will have a leg up on his next gig. But he will also start over at the bottom of seniority and have to slug his way through their training program.

Rumor is the United announcement is coming around Feb 1.

Read these threads about what is happening at gojet. You might not want to quit your day job.

Unless you want to live in STL the reason people even consider Gojet is crazy in this hiring environment.

Going to Gojet is probably not a good choice right now. If your class isn’t until March, you should definitely keep apply to other regionals. As mentioned Skywest has a very large presence on the west coast.

GoJet is losing flying, might want to reconsider.
