They only have 20 700s. At lease 5 must come from GoJet.

Rumor on the street is Mesa is losing 20 and GoJet is losing 25. 25 new Ejets at ExpressJet and 20 new Ejets at SkyWest for United Express.

I'm not GoJet, but I think TSH has its pinkies crossed that Delta doesn't dump them by the end of the year...

I’m not sure I’m getting all of the GJ fleet, but if you pull FAA records (N # lookup), you can see that GoJet owns ~25%, Delta ~39%, and the remainder are financed by either Wells Fargo or a sub of GE, “AFS Investments”.

Of the Delta aircraft, 2 registrations expire 5/31/19, 8 6/30/19, and 2 7/31/19, so 12 in all coming up mid-year. Here’s what I’m not sure — what’s involved in renewing a registration? I think it’s just a fee, but not sure if it requires a recert, heavy, etc.... Anyone know?

All this could just be noise, of course!

Either way. Mesa is going to shrink over the next year. I foresee losing all the 700’s and moving 20 E175’s to IAD.
