Say goodbye to Delta
First and foremost, the letter of memo which was put out bye Rick Leach was nothing more them trying to throw a bucket of water into a forest fire.
It’s very evident that based on the letter, G7 has no intent to keep the Delta flying. His claim for stating that we lost two aircraft alley due staffing issues is nothing more then a cover up for the what’s really going on... You can be sure that we will lose two planes a month until they completely disappear. Mean while our United birds will be traded in for 550’s which essentially are the same aircraft but with a different interior... Detroit, and Denver bases will most likely close. Raleigh may close if United doesn’t use it as a satilite base for EWR, much like Delta did for LGA when the base was opened.
I’m either case the company is having staffing issues, mostly on the Captain side. Few people are willing to upgrade particularly when the company puts very little into the resining and doesn’t seem to care about failing someone. The company has been added an extra sim session but that hadnt fixed the problem.
