Training - laptop or just ipad

I know they provide an IPAD, but its limited to company business only. Should I bring a laptop or can I get by with just my IPAD?

Unless something has changed since I was there, you will need a laptop for online computer based training that isn’t mobile friendly.

Your head will hurt less with a laptop.

What about after the training, how often do you take a laptop with you on your trips?

Training - it’s easier to have one for electronic education courses, taking notes and researching stuff.

On the line - that boils down to personal preference. I always have one, but again it’s just my preference.

What make/model do you have? Looking at a 13" or 14" model due to the size while keeping the price down but having it powerful enough to do what I need it to do? Windows or Chrome?

I have a HP elitebook 1040, windows 10. The folio is light weight and pretty fast. I spent some extra money on mine. But I think it was well worth it.

I would personally recommend staying away from Chromebook or anything that operates on a web operating system, they are just too limited.

I use a MacBook Pro, but any normal laptop running either Windows or Mac should be fine. You don't have to break the bank if you are going to have to buy one. I have also heard good things about the Surface tablets that run Windows but I think that will cost more than a "normal" laptop.

Thanks for everyone's response. I was able to find a cheap ASUS laptop at Bestbuy.
