I had failed my checkride at GoJet back in January. They said I would be welcome to reapply in 6 months. They messaged me a couple of days after I left to tell me the DO said to tell me yes definite re-reapply. I figured they were my best chance after having a checkride failure. I was really close just made some done mistakes but I was out of time.
Also I was a SkyWest the year prior and resigned from training because I was making slow progress in the sims I was very behind.
Harder than I realized going from little Cessnas to flying a CRJ.

You’d be surprised. I know a guy who is at his 4th regional after failing out of 3 other in the span of about 18 months.

Thank you for the reply. Keep trying and do not give up if this is what you want to do. It is notoriously more difficult to make the jump you’re making for people just like you... Later in life career changers. You’re right, it is really tough. Initial 121 training is a tough learning environment and you’re background most likely doesn’t lend itself to being successful in it. That being said it isn’t impossible. And it sounds like you are honest and have a good attitude about it. Apply at places, interview, and make your decisions from there.

Lynn,
Don't let anyone get to you, if this is something you want keep at it. If you've put another career on hold I assume you have enough to keep yourself/family afloat, if true I say chase your dreams with everything you have, no one ends life saying "I wish I wouldn't have tried so hard to get the things I truly wanted in life." Wishing you all the best and hope you stick the landing somewhere in a jet!

And technically I resigned from the first one because of slow in training not making adequate progress.
Not ready yet to go back to working in a giant machine shop as a tool and die maker for a large aircraft manufacture in the Seattle area. I’m sure you’ve heard of them. Kinda going back with my tail between my legs so to speak. But yeah $95K a year with generous benefits does soften the fall

You seem to have a good background in the military and in civilian life. What specific aspect would you say is giving you issues? I would assume the knowledge/oral portion is fine but you struggle in the sim? What specific portion there is giving you the issues?

Mesa will hire her. Just need to give it 110% because if you fail out of Mesa, that's game over.
