CRJ-550 Range
So what is the range with this thing with 50 pax, full bags and an alternate?
Is there a need to remove passengers on the longer flights to GSO, RIC, OKC, & TUL from ORD?
Looks like when full of bags and pax you can only carry 7-8,000lbs of fuel or so?

Getting rid of 1 FA and 20 PAX from a -700 means you've got an extra ~4000lbs of weight to play with. Not to mention no/less green tags because you have the closets to stuff bags into should also help.

Yes that is true but the 550 was certified with a lower max gross to fit under the UA scope.

Compare Apples to Apples and you find we have Rotten Apples. I was hoping the 50 seats would allow for longs legs so that we could have 7+ hour turns, and 13 hour 2 days. Instead we will be stuck with hopefully 5 to 5.5 hours per day averaging, maybe less. When they let the plane sit in order to match the flights to the high yield passengers we are going to have every lower efficiency. If we get 4.5 hours per day averages it is not going to be good.
I'm guessing that when the schedules fully develop in a few months that the average per day trip time will be 45 minutes to an hour per day average less than the lines at Skywest. If a Skywest guy works 15 days a month for 80 hours, it will probably take 17 to 18 here.
I'm hoping I'm wrong.
