Direct Entry Captain Bonus Contract
 
Hi guys,

Does anyone know how the DEC bonus works? It it paid out over 1 year? And Is it pro-rated for 1 year if you leave and pay back how many days you had left? I can’t find much information on it. Also do you believe a DEC would fly much? I already know it’s a sign on for endless reserve.

The bonuses were a by product of the high demands for Captains and First Officers, but now since we went from having a huge demand to being overstaffed, the bonuses are no longer necessary, even when things open back up, it will be a while for the need of bonuses, since furloughed pilots will be more desperate for a job.
