I got an email the other day for a Mar 22 class date. Not much of a heads up.

Lets pretend we are about to hire so that everyone doesn't leave for Skywest! We need to keep flying until Skywest takes them all.

Makes sense for SkyBest to wait until the conversions are done before swooping in. Less expenses on their part.

And the total contracted to be converted so far is 74. They have 38 flying and as it’s been said on a few forums they’ve started converting the Mesa planes as we speak. That contract for those through Mesa is 9 years. 10 years through Skywest. 9 more years on the 10 year contract with United.
I would say hiring pilots by June if air travel keeps going the way it is. The April schedule released has a lot of 550 flying and it’ll only increase as more and more get converted.
Is there a way to view future proposed United schedules? I imagine somewhere on flyingtogether?

What do you expect, this is GoJet.... right now there’s not a worse regional out there. If you gotta pay the bills and feed the family but you have a checkered past, it’s a possible flying job in this crazy market.

Commutair actually pay less ($38.02) but the difference is they are hiring and running classes now so you will make second year pay quicker than waiting for Gojet!
