I do not see the company wanting to do anything about actually getting people on property... like bringing our contract up to industry standard.... Seems to me like management is ready to exist the stage and leave the Pilots holding the bag. The Pilots who have been at G7 for any length of time have sacrificed enough. If the company wants to continue to play games they will loose. They have always been reactive and not proactive in everything they do and sooner or later it will bight them in the ass.

Yep unfortunately holdings is a joke of company, and they will run Gojet into the ground just like they did with Compass and TSA. It’s just a matter of time, all this is just a bandaid on a stab wound. Sooner or later United will cut ties with Gojet and that’ll be all she wrote, because Gojet management is unwilling to be competitive with pay/advancing market share. Holding on by a thin thin thread.

The sword of Damocles. He could not believe his good luck, wining and dining on the finest, until he looked up. A shining, razor sharp sword was directly above him. It was suspended by a single horse hair.

Sums it up well. The fire at TSH HQ started on the first floor (Compass), took out the second soon after (TSA), and it’s only a matter of time before it gets the third. What does anyone expect when you have someone like RL and HK making decisions? [emoji23]

Did pilots who were already at GoJet who had previous airline experience, before they started, get the 1:1 longevity increase, or did only new hires get that?

Let me give you perspective of a GoJet pilot. You've got to understand that GoJet pilots do not have balls. Everyone had them but somewhere along the way they have all been lost. We take what we are given and we pretend we are satisfied. We let the company pay outside of the CBA and then we come up with reasons to conclude that they are actually allowed to do what they are doing. Rather than pilots being given a raise, we let the company pay only the new guys big bonuses. We rationalize how in the long run it is better for each of us. When the company doesn't actually pay the bonuses because of one excuse or the other, we welcome the new guys to the club, the ball-less, and we feel sorry for them. We hope they will make it out one day.

The CBA has ended. We will fantasize about getting more than Skywest because of the pilot shortage. In the end they will up the hourly rate to make us feel good saying we have the highest pay scale but in realty our pay will be 20 to 30% lower. We have all been hurt. We miss our balls.

So to answer your question with a question, do you think the company would give all the pilots a longevity increase when they could just pay the new guy?

But I have high hopes for GoJet. To get the pilots there will be a big raise with lots of new planes. This is the place to be at this moment in time! Opportunity knocks!

GoJets management may be an absolute disgrace to the industry as a whole. Not as bad as people think. Just depends on who you ask. I’m not cheering managment for their success. If you do something wrong, their will be consequences. Some people find that hard to believe.

After United announcement yesterday, I don’t think GoJet is folding anytime soon. We’re getting more and more flying and more 550 conversions. We’re growing like crazy!

We’ve already received a few CRJ700s from Nordica Airlines that are currently sitting in STL waiting to be converted.
This also includes a lot of the MJ tails we’ve already received from Mesa and fully converted and flying as we speak.

Luckily the company is meetings it’s goals on pilot recruitment. Had 36 in one class 2 weeks ago. We just need more check airman and Captains. That’s gonna be our struggle for awhile. This isn’t a bad place to be, it’s just a stepping stone. If you wanna fly, and basically have no reserve. This might not be a bad place.

I expect to see a few jr fo’s from zw to make the jump . Some that I spoke to are in the process of updating their airline apps and are expected to make a lateral move .

Does anyone know what the 550 lease contracts look like? I’m curious as to if they’re contracted for a certain number of years or if it is structured another way.
