Gojet Recall Email Response
In response to a recent Gojet recall email, a former Trans States pilot wrote this. It will go right up there with the Death Threat Memo in TSA lore :D:D:D
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________ Dearest Capitan XXXX: I received your email, and I was surprised to learn that Gojet even still existed! I was looking forward to another eloquently written letter from that silver-tongued devil Rick Leach explaining that Covid (not pi$$-poor management) was to blame for stomping out the last Trans States Holdings cockroach. I find it very Trans Statey that I wasn't even mailed an official furlough letter from Blowjet when I was furloughed. I received a typo-ridden email with a screenshot of the seniority list that indirectly told me I was furloughed. I'd rather clean toilets at WalMart or drag my b@lls through broken glass before I'd ever make Uncle Hulas another dime. Therefore, please accept my resignation and middle finger. I hope that every person you recalled says the same and you don't get a single dime. Goodbye Trans State Holdings. We're better off without you. |

What is the status of recalls? Still zero time lines still a thing?

Serious question, did GoJet recall all their furloughed pilots? If so are they all getting current or just on payroll for cares act compliance?

It’s always funny to imagine doing this kind of thing, but I sure hope that person is at their destination airline or out of the industry. For their sake.

Your resignation letter is one of the very few things that follows you via PRIA, other than a very high level overview of your training records. And HR people are always screening for “problem children” with the potential for “discipline issues”.
G7 (and AX for that matter) might be/have been considered bottom-tier regionals by a lot of pilots, but the big 6 have hired plenty of pilots from both places as far as I’m aware, so I doubt they think particularly poorly of TSH. It’s just such a silly thing to get yourself weeded out over at a potential future employer, even if I’m sure it felt great in the moment. |
