Like Global Thermonuclear War, the only way to win the regional game is to not play (or not any longer than you absolutely have to).
Yeah this^^ just don’t get cancer, have family issues, loved ones or any other part of being a human.

I know we all love to take a dump on Skywest and their student council for riding the union coattails..but they’re lack of organized labor management treats their pilots far better than any unionized TSH company.

Save yourself the heartache and potential career...just don’t work for Go Jet.

There will always be starry-eyed innocents coming in that haven’t a clue - that in fact may believe they can safely settle for a long term career at a regional.

BTDT, it takes time and you need to maintain SA on what the HR ladies are looking for in any given year and if necessary jump through the hoops. Seriously trying to get out is a full-time job, and it can suck for a long time, especially if you have a family. Nature of the beast. Don't give up, and at some point if DAL & FDX aren't calling, consider whether ACMI/ULCC will work for you. ULCC is a pretty good gig these days.

Getting to a multi-six figure job isn't a cake walk in any other industry. Getting a multi-six figure job with 18 days off just doesn't happen in any other industry... unless you own the business. Well OK I can think of one: saturation diving. Google that if you want to learn about people who EARN their money.
