[QUOTE=flynd94;3315029]So just more flights for G7 to cancel or hand back to mainline. You aren’t coming anywhere close to fulfilling your current commitment[/QUOTE

The only UAX carriers that are dong relatively ok are Skywest , Mesa and Republic. Zw,c5,and G7 are all sucking air right now .

Actually this isn’t necessarily true. Mesa can’t staff all its flights either.

Yea, but Mesa has done this kind of this since its inception.
Nothing new to see there.

Mesa signed a contract to fly X amount of aircrafts years ago and decided to only fly 9/10 X amount of aircrafts so they could use the *not authorized by UA” grounded aircraft’s for spare parts, which helped result in less maintenance delays. Of course they eventually got caught by UA, as UA was paying them to fly 20 not 18 (don’t know the exact amount of the contract), UA literally sued Mesa and brought them to court. The best part is UA went fleeing back to SkyWest begging them to cover the flying and got charged extra for the inconvenience.

And here we are years later, Mesa still flying UA metal.

Mesa’s only job is to keep the SkyWest contract’s honest. GoJet is a completely different scenario, and btw the majority of those 550’s are leased out, if they want to start playing games by missing payments (which Hulas is notorious for) the rug will be pulled out. Hulas will run this operation up until it starts losing him money, I predict 6 months before it becomes a Trans States 2.0 shutdown due to “staffing issues”.

A Question for the G7 Commuters: Does anybody commute ORD-EWR? If so, how "doable" is it? I am aware commuting sucks in general and living in base is preferable, but for those that must commute, do you find yourselves getting bumped often from these flights?

Terrible commute on the United side being hub to hub. Haven't done it but I imagine getting bumped is normal.

Anyone claiming to have had no trouble commuting between IAH and EWR this past summer must have been doing it on Fedex!
