Most likely installment style spread out over a couple of years. They often structure the first installment after IOE and then each installment thereafter on anniversaries. It’s possible there’s a different timeline with the new bonuses, however. Pilots hired in 2021 were recently awarded what essentially amounts to retention bonuses. Since we hired on when no bonuses were offered, when the company start to announce new hire bonuses, they also told the rest of us that previously owed bonuses that had to be rescinded due to COVID would be honored, and that 2021 hires would get monthly bonus installments based on length of active service this year.

Training is fully paid at min guarantee (75hrs) from indoc. Per diem only when away from STL ie. during Systems in PHX.

If I already live in St L and won’t be needing a hotel, is it possible to request as little time in PHX as possible? I know 2 weeks is mandatory but heard u may be sent there for duration of training and that is not gonna be ideal

2 weeks Indoc is always in STL, 2 weeks for Systems @ PHX is the minimum then 3 weeks sims may be in PHX or STL, 50/50 depending on the availability, can't choose. Whole course is sent to one or the other.

Not sure about the wait for IOE but due to small class sizes on the latest courses there is no delay between Systems and Sims now.

How are the days off starting from indoc thru Sims. I just want to have a idea if I will be able to fly home to see my family at least for two days between all the training.
