ATC: “Nice job on the circle.”
 
Hats off to the GoJet pilots who made the timely decision to circle to Runway 33 at DCA this morning, after the pilots who lined up on Runway 1 told Tower “Can you give us 30 seconds?” when Tower cleared them for takeoff. GoJet pilots (as calm as can be): “Ah, we can take 33 now.”

All of us watching in the block certainly nodded in agreement with ATC’s post-landing compliment. Perfect decision, Impressive flying.

I assume they had the proper landing data for the runway. Lol.

Coming into Dca when 1 is in use , always get data for both 1 and 33.
