Good luck.
No you're not. People said the same thing about Comair or Continental Express PFT'ers from the 90's and as dastardly deed that PFT is, there were plenty of PFT'ers hired at majors.

that place is pretty aweful to work at too. Aside from all of the above listed items there is the QOL there. Im a former TSA'er and know several guys who had to mke the same decision u are deciding right now. THEY ALL HATE IT AND NON-STOP CONPLAIN. You get 9 days off on reserve and 11 off as a line holder. No per diem or hotel in training. lemme tell you, TSA was no treat to work for, GJ is guarenteed to be 10 times as terrible. Hulas and company are truly miserable people to work for. Ig you go to GJ you'll be faced with miserable management and miserable pilots too. On top of that, and I dont care what some GJ pilots will tell you bout how they arent treated badly, everyone at the very least thinks they are weasels. My experience is when a GJ pilot walks by they are usually ignored or shunned but as soon as they pass by its "scab this" or "SOB that, etc" I dont think that would be a very fun place to work. Just like it was said above......"If you have to ask" you already know the answer

Zapata, thank you for the response with actual examples from direct experience. I appreciate that!

Any GoJet pilots out there at all? I'm in no rush. Please feel free to PM if you'd prefer to talk one on one.

Also, any career pilots, say over 5,000 hours with an ATP and PERSPECTIVE, can feel free to PM as well.

Zapata,

I respectfully disagree. From my experience flying at Comair, a very very large majority of Captains i flew with were PFT'ers. Whether they were shunned, or got comfortable after the strike is up for debate..but I think there were quite a few that aren't welcome (i personally know quite a few that have been rejected from DAL, simply because they worked for Comair)

Im just saying I lived that BS experience as a TSA'er and we/most other RJ outfits did not care for them and treated them as second class citizens. Personally, to me that makes for a pretty bad daily life at GJ. Imagine this hypothetical, (well, its actually true cause I was there) Two crews riding in the van to the hotel. Neither one hs yet ID'ed the other airline....chit-chat goes on as usual until one askes the other wo they are. "United Express" is the reply.....well, Im no one man SAS crack team but the other crew figured it out and the result was not what Id call optimal.
