There is no GJAgreement and there will not be one for years. Nobody has taken the lead, the union has not pushed for one and is happy letting the company pay guys outside of the contract. The only agreement is the bonus. They are up to 15000 and will go much higher. They are open to hearing offers.
Tell them outside of the ears of others interviewing that you will only go if you are given 25k, you will get it. Be discrete and polite, they want to hire you and they are willing to pay. Every executive job requires negotiation, pilots are no different.
I would suggest telling them you require a 25k bonus and then 20 k each year for the following 3 years. After all, that is what Endeavor is paying each year. Ask and you will get.
Remember, they want you but they can't negotiate things in public and they don't want to get into a bidding war. They are happy to match Endeavor but if they do it publicly then Endeavor might up theres.
Alpa allowed the bonus' for years and said nothing with Republic, Teamsters have allowed it with Gojet. Negotiate your bonus where ever you go. The unions can stop the bonuses if they want but they don't want to.
