Nothing is more fun than watching idiots go to Gojet after having been fully informed about what it is like.
People ignore what they don't want to believe. They even ignore the rulings of federal juries against Gojet and go there.
You could have film of people going into class and being doused with gas and set on fire and the same amount of people would be showing up for the future classes. They demand to see for themselves. They want the challenge.
Good luck to all the Gojet new hires. I guarantee you will have stories to tell your grandkids. Tell Randy that I said great things about Gojet.

lol yeah the training was not hard at all but the politics were and the airline's intentions and attitude towards street captains. This poor guy got fired 6 months later for declining a trip that according to the contract he didn't have to pick up. Anyways if you guys wanna be as "smart" as I was and you think you will be any different than us, by all means go ahead and have fun!!! lol good luck!

Hey guys,
I figured I am going to make a post about Gojet and I have so much to say, I can go over details (small or big) but long story short STAY AWAY from that mess especially if you are not willing to have a failure on your record. A friend of mine joined the company as a street captain with previous experience on the CRJ including CA time and after he joined he helped me in as well so he did great on all of his exams and so did I. To keep it short we both went to the final check ride (practical) and we both failed, they offered my friend the FO position and they kicked me out without even purchasing a ticket for me to go home. AWEFUL EXPERIENCE! The instructors are so unprofessional, they show up in jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes, talk like track drivers and have a horrible and unfriendly attitude. If you like your career and want to grow and expand please don't go to BlowJet, there are many other airlines that will treat you much better and you will have the opportunity to learn something useful for when you get on the line. I ended up at SkyWest, passed all my exams without any issues, people were great and professional and that is my home now. I love it. Of course there are other good airlines like, Endeavor, Envoy, Compass, Air Wisconsin etc. I would avoid Mesa, BlowJet, Piedmont, PSA, CommutAir, ExpressJet (although I heard people at expressjet are good and professionals they still give checkride failures for nothing).
Thank you for reading and good luck!

Dude sorry for your experience, but outside of PAY (300%) helps, you can take Mesa off that list. People are cool, chief pilots don't bother you, schedules are decent (IAD hurting a little..... OK a lot) but other than that it's solid here.

I am just having fun at Mesa’s expense. We do have a decent pass rate. A new hire may fail a lesson. Few fail their checkride. Fewer fail their recheck. Part of it is the airport we choose to do our checkrides at: a sea level airport. Try an airport with a higher elevation and varying terrain for the visual and CAT II approaches. Part of it is the new pilot knows exactly what is going to happen and in what sequence. They have nearly memorized the QRH before they get the malfunction.
