You all have questionable judgement considering you work for a scumbag operation like GoJet.

I want nothing more than to get UAL pax off of any and every G7 airplane.

I also push hard internally for UAL to not hire G7 pilots. You made your bed....enjoy the "quick upgrade"!

I'm also a direct hire captain at GoJet. My experience so far at GoJet has been outstanding. The training was good, the admin folks are knowledgeable and helpful, and I haven't seen any evidence of discrimination of any kind. I've spoken with both Randy and Brad and found them to be friendly and professional. I am a veteran and they both told me how much they like prior military folks. There was another veteran and a current guardsman as well a mix of ethnicities in my initial class and I neither saw nor heard of any kind of discrimination.

I have trouble believing this. The company would have a hard time explaining to the FAA why an aircraft was dispatched with a known mechanical problem that was not properly deferred. If they did try something like that I doubt they would put it on the dispatch paperwork.

It would also be the PICs responsibility to refuse an aircraft with a mechinal problem that has not been properly deferred.

Push harder because this isn't the good ol' days. Guys are being hired into United quite often. I can think of a couple off the top of my head. I just spoke to one who got an interview invitation the other day.

This is just laughable.

Ummm, you do realize that against the law, right? Your story doesn't hold much water, I'm afraid.

This is completely true. Read the documents under Case 4:16-cv-01330 in the Missouri Eastern court. While a member of the national guard was performing his duties he was informed to report to Randy Bratchers office. The national guard member attempted to inform him of his military obligation. Randy Bratcher tells him ""Don't lecture me on USERRA; I'll bounce you out of here faster than ****."

I am not making this up its in the court document you can read it for yourself. I have given you the case as well as the court.

While everyone claims to be having these lovely conversations with the racist Randy Bratcher and Brad Sargent why don't you ask them why do they bounce National Guard members out of GoJet faster than ****?

Doesn't mean they can't get away with it. Enforcement can be spotty, and usually requires that the member file a civil lawsuit (which is generally NOT going to be viewed favorably by any future airline employer).

No-charge legal lesson for the day: I have no dog in this fight, but I think it's important to point out that this "court document" is a complaint -- a court filing submitted by the person suing. It's not the court's judgment/decision. I could submit literally almost anything in a court complaint, and it would have only somewhat more validity than if I wrote it on a napkin. Again, no idea if it's true or not, and as a veteran myself I hope it's not!
