Only wear it with a uniform.
Time off is no shave, no shoes, no watch...

Is it loud and uncomfortable?

If you’re into piloting and like your watches as cool as possible, look no further than Garmin’s D2 Pilot watch ($449). Even in the crowded field of complex digital flight watches, the D2 stands out with a truly amazing set of features. Sporting an accurate WAAS GPS receiver along with an altimeter and compass, the 49mm-wide D2 can manage direct-to and nearest routing via an on-board worldwide airport database. Speed, waypoint, flight plans, ETA, active mapping, bearing and glide ratio are all available, along with a view of up to six time zones. It can even communicate with a number of external Garmin devices to keep additional flight information ready at a glance. It’s a remarkable, pure flight tool.

How do you like the Garmin D2? Will it sync your steps with Garmin Connect like it will with their fitness trackers?

I loved my SKX007, but I replaced it with a Deep Blue NATO Diver 300 because of the better movement with hand winding, and the sapphire crystal.

Here's one for the "my fitness watch has more functions than yours does" competition. Claims to monitor just about everything short of a colonoscopy:

Another here, black Expedition. Keeps time like it's nuclear powered or something. 60$, incredibly.

That Deep Blue is sharp and a step above for sure. Have you worn an Orient Mako? One of my favorite watches, and looks great on various straps.
Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Orient watches in general.

I like the simplicity of the Timex watches, such as Expedition with Indiglo.

I do have an old Omega Sea-master Cosmic from the early 60's which I inherited from my dad. It's simple but classic. My Submariner has been pretty good to me for the past 18 years.
