Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Orient watches in general.
I like my Deep Blue, but I had no problems with my Seiko SKX007. I saw the Deep Blue listed on Watchuseek for a great price and I bought it after I doing some research. Yes, I have a few Orient Makos and Rays, for the price they're a steal! In fact the Mako that I keep on my watch winder with my Omega Seamster keeps better time than my Seamster. If I'm not mistaken Orient is owned by Seiko I believe.

I just sent my Sinn 903 H4 in for service. First time I've sent it back to them and so far I'm really impressed with the fair pricing they offer.

Awesome.
I don't know if Orient is owned by Seiko, that would be news to me.
I also have a watch winder but have yet to really test watches against one another.
I'd love a Seiko Big Tuna for another diver.
I spent eight months in Japan and their watch displays were fantastic.

I can imagine, but I'm a huge Seiko and Citizen fan. That's why I chose the Deep Blue as a replacement for my SKX007 because it had a Seiko NH35 movement. What part of Japan we you living in?

I was in Narita for eight months and was there nearly monthly for layovers.
