jump seating international

I am new to jump seating. I was wondering if and what it is like to jump seat on international flights. What are the cost if there is any.

Nothing going out of the country, usually have to pay a "tax" coming back in. It can vary depending on where you are coming from. I can't remember what I paid to JS out of Spain 2 years ago, something like $40. At some places you can pre pay when you leave the US, or so I've heard. Enjoy the priveledge and use it as much as you can. It's basically a free (or very inexpensive) pass to see the world.

Also, I don't know who you work for, but if your company has pass agreements with foreign carriers, it can be a good idea to have some ZED/ID-90's in your back pocket just in case. Usually they are refundable if you don't use them. Not always 100%, but you are not out the full cost if they go unused.
