Seems odd the last leg was out to HNL. Guessing there was a ferry leg back to the desert?

Come to the dark side of aviation-we have 747s.

Probably a repo to Asia where another carrier has purchased her for continued operation.

(Had flown the 747 Classic and 727 previously, but at the time, F/O in those seats did not require a type [Classic was at an ACMI carrier]).

But yes...the first airliner I ever flew was a 747.

This is where (parts) of two of our jets ended up. Cockpit cabs, engines, landing gear, and I'm guessing some flaps, slats, and hydraulic systems were culled from two tails at Victorville to build this at Mojave (has not flown yet).

Forgive my ignorance, but what is DENTK?

For the record, I meant no disrespect. It is just that I, and most of my friends, got their first type in something along the lines of a B1900, Metro, or SF340.

And I gotta say, the folks I knew that had single pilot type ratings, were and still are, my civilian pilot heroes.

I thought I was pretty good flying a C-421 single engine, circle to land, off an NDB.

But the guys I knew who were flying large twin turboprops single pilot...were gods.
