Default Gifts for Christmas

Hello everybody,
I just got home and I am thinking about what can I buy for my sons for Christmas. One is 5 and the other 7, so I am thinking of buying something maybe more expensive but great for both and I want to find something that will keep them off screens. So, I was thinking about a board game, table game or maybe something they can make with Lego. Let me hear your ideas, what will you get your kids?

I think my wife would kill me if I come home with that No, I was thinking about something they can do together now they love to play together but I think the older one will start ignoring the younger soon. I mean, I don't want that but I know what happened to me and my brother when I was little.
I talked with my friends and they told me to get them foosball table and I am really angry it was not my idea! Now, the only thing that bothers me is the size. I think I will go with the mini foosball table although I would love to have a real size table. So I can play it I guess if I get smaller now, they will get addicted to foosball and I can buy the real one when they grow up. It's like an investment right?

Don't get a mini one. Kids use those mini pool/ foosball tables for all of about 2 weeks before they realize how much it stinks compared to a full size one.

True story, friend of mine, 2 girls like 5 and 7 with birthday days in the same week. They celebrate together.
I got them RC helicopters.
Mom hates me but girls forgot al about the coloring books and tutus and tiaras.
Not sure how long they lasted but BIG success.

Not stupid expensive either.

The electric R/C stuff nowadays is pretty incredible. Whatever you do stay away from XBOX or other video games, it will suck the life out of them and create all kinds of problems.
We had a big tub of K'nexs, built some pretty cool structures and you can just keep adding on.

My Son wants another ‘mil-surp’. I hadn’t thought much about it, but may lean that way.
