A TRUE old school captain would put up with about 10 seconds of that stupid ass arguing and punch Skippy square in his tiny dick

Now, where did I tie that little filly, er ah horse, er ah plane? Any of you folks seen a lost plane around in these parts? If I don’t find ‘em soon, what am I going to tell J.R. Ewing?

We've all met that Texas Old School type. Honestly, though, the FO character was a total management wannabe Douche, LOL!

Exactly.

I seriously wouldn’t have flown with that f.o.

It’s not a check ride, so ****.

If I want a running commentary, I’d turn the TV on.

I’d just say, “if you see safety issues, let me know. If you want to yammer all day about fuel savings and the bottom line, I’ll just ask you to leave and we will see if scheduling can find me a new version of you with yammer mode deferred.”

Most guys do Flaps 30 in the 737.

And when it becomes necessary to do a Flaps 40, it generally isn't pretty, especially with a significant crosswind.

I do 40 most of the time, flies great.
