Tattooed flight attendant
I was on a Spirit flight from Oakland to LAX this week and the flight attendant had a tattoo on her wrist and other behind her right ear. It made my mind wander about where else she might be tattooed? Lol, but I digress; does Spirit have a visible tattoo policy for flight attendants? Do you see a lot of tattooed flight attendants once they’re out of their uniforms when on layovers?

Honestly I don't pay attention but I'm ready for the day when pilots are allowed to have them visible below the neck. Depending on what part of the country you live in it is becoming more and more common in the white collar workplace.

Yes our Flight Attendants have to cover up Tatoos. Tatoos are getting to be so common, that I don't think it is a rule that is enforced.

As long as they aren’t jailhouse tattoos WTF cares? Do you really want to work for a company that gives people a hard time if they have some visible ink? Besides my past experience tells me that FA’s with porn tats are a lot more interesting than ones that don’t have em.

Then I should be allowed to have facial hair

Just a company that has a policy, and sticks to it. If someone has a tattoo that violates the company's policy, they should look for a different company to apply to for employment. But if they do decide to go ahead and apply, they shouldn't be a surprised snowflake when something is said and/or done about their tattoo/beard/ponytail/piercings/etc... |
