DSLR Camera
Looking to upgrade my camera game to an entry level dSLR. I saw this little starter package on Best Buy
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/canon-e...?skuId=5091315
Anybody have any recommendations on this or a different recommendation?

I would go with a mirrorless (unless you need a very fast shutter response for pro sports/wildlife). I haven't touched my DSLR in a year since I got a Sony A6300. Much smaller body, the quality of images are just as good as a DSLR, and it takes great 4k video.

I highly recommend it. At the time there was a competing nikon camera that didn't even come close. And I assume the rebels have only gotten better in recent years.
I have abused the heck out of it too. It has withstood a lot of rain on the gun range and is still going strong!

I shot film on my Cannon AE1 since 1979. Like you I wanted to go digital and get a comparable DSLR. I ended up getting a T5i about 4 years ago and have been very pleased with it. Unless you are doing professional gigs, I think you would be very happy with the T6 you posted the link to.
