TSA/FAA open CASS to all airlines
From today's IPA News:
The testing is over and the Cockpit Access Security System (CASS) has received final approval from the TSA and FAA. Initially, CASS was implemented as a test program and was only open to airlines represented by the ATA. Now that the test period is over, CASS is a permanent jumpseat program and is open to all airlines that wish to participate. |
Int'l Flights
Can anybody confirm if one can fly CASS on int'l flights going (or coming) to the US? Thanks

CASS is not available for international flights. Yet.
I believe that is set to change later this year and in 2008. Jumpseat cmte chairs feel free to chime in... |
