Post Just got mine issued Paperless ?

I just looked mine up and it has been "issued paperless".
I filed the application the night of the 20th & paid $70 with a credit card...navigating the ancient system was a pain in tuckus.

I am able to print out a copy that is watermarked "Reference Only"
Is there a way to print one without the watermark?
Does FCC mail one out?

Mine is so old, and the ink so faded, that it's difficult to read. When I got mine, there was no charge.

An employer once complained that it was so faded and told me I'd be required to go get a new one. I didn't. This one has been more than fine for the past few decades.

I'd suggest for those that get an electronic one, make a printed copy.

Unk rider did you ever get mailed the license? I paid and did the paperwork drill over a month ago and I never got anything in the mail. I can't seem to navigate the terrible website to login and print the certificate if that is an option.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to get the license mailed out or print it for the website?

Terrible website - CHECK. Here is how to print your license:

1) Log into the FCC ULS License Manager System http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls/ with your FRN and password.
2) Go to ‘Download the Electronic Authorization’ of the official license. (Left side of page - see attached image).
3) In "My Authorizations" select the "RR - RR001.....", click "ADD", click "DOWNLOAD". The PDF will open with the "OFFICIAL COPY" watermark.

Log in at https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsEntry/licManager/login.jsp and click on the word "now" in the green banner that includes the text "download your official electronic authorizations now."

Apparently the additional $5 doesn't cover the ever-increasing price of a stamp nowadays.
.

Just finished mine, paid $70 for a piece of paper I might not even use.

You'll use it every time you fly outside the US. And every time you interview for a job.
