Default UFO sightings

Curious if any current or former pilots have seen anything out of the ordinary or even heard anything related to the topic from a trusted source.

It all depends on how much chemtrails are in the upper atmosphere, but on a clear night you can usually see 3 or 4. Depends where you are flying to also. New Mexico and Arizona seem to be hot spots. I must have seen 7 or 8 last time I was down that direction.

Edit: nope. Reductivist anti-intellectual already on scene.

You asked for a trusted source.

I knew him for a period of time.
Didn't seem crazy then.

So I'm having dinner last night and this waitress sits down and wants to discuss chemtrails! She says "I've been a conspiracy theorist for years now....." I tell her to quit wasting time on this one and concentrate on some other really good ones! She at least admits that the chemtrails aren't produced by planes ...'carrying all of those passengers..'

Hey....how about a refill on that tea please!

I saw one once but if went over the corner of the earth.

Have I seen things I can't explain? Yep. Do I know what they were? Nope. The problem is the human brain wants to "fill in the voids" and make things "make sense", so beyond seeing something you can't explain, things go south pretty fast when reading these stories or hearing them from other people. One only has to go back to TWA 800 and the absolutely crazy conflicting stories told by eyewitnesses. It's a classic case for the unreliability of witnesses and how our mind will "make up" information to make things more palatable for us, to make it more emotionally comforting or to assign some kind of "reason" for it. It's extremely hard to sort through the BS in these cases usually because we "want to believe", even on a subconscious level.

Who knows how many UFOs are flying underneath the flat earth? They may be lurking there waiting to poke over the edge of the flat earth just when you are not looking.

Just like the monsters under my bed. They jump up above my bed at the moment I look under my bed.

Foretunately I grew up and grew out of it. I guess some never do.

I see UFOs all the time, but then it's just a 73 going the other way. 🤔
