Commuting

Hey Guys,

I am recently looking at flight attendant jobs and I know this is mostly pilots but I figured you guys could help me out. I was looking at most of the airlines and there aren’t really any I want to live at that are the most junior. So I would probably end up commuting and was wondering what cities are best to commute from? I know this is broad but to make it more specific the junior bases I’m looking at are (KORD, KJFK/KLGA, KPHIL, KIAD). If anyone can help me that would be great!

Thank you

Commuting is a lot easier for pilots (cockpit jumpseat access) but plenty of FA's do it.

Ideally you want a city pair with multiple direct flights on multiple airlines. Also you don't want to commute between cities that are both crew bases (pilot and/or FA) for any airline.

So it depends on where you live too.

All the bases you mentioned are prone to weather, ORD maybe less than the east coast cities. Weather causes delays and cancellations which can fill up subsequent flights for days.
