What to do with Radio Op Certificate?
 
So what exactly should i do with this worthless piece of paper that i have to carry with me? Laminate it? Get a small binder?

Laminate the puppy. Also, these days, I carry pictures of everything in my iPhone, physical, passport, license, radio certificate, the whole 9 yards.. Gonna carry the iPhone anyway and all the little 1s and 0s in memory don’t seem to weigh much. ;)

It’s required outside the US, it’ll be checked in a EASA SAFA check. I laminated mine back when it was free.

I tuck it in my second passport and squirrel it away. Only two have ever asked to see it; one employer who whined because it's so faded with time that the date is barely visible, and another that just wanted a copy for the file.

It's never come up in an EASA check, or anywhere else.

It's not worthless; it's required.

It gets asked for pretty universally when we (B6) get ramp-checked south of CONUS...

Laminate it and put it wherever you keep your certificate and medical. Simple.
