If the deal fell through because of unionization and not AOC, how do we all feel about it? 🤔
I feel that, in our profession, a strong union is actually critical to the safety of our customers. For Amazon, however, not so much.

This is how pilots rationalize being in a union while simultaneously being anti-union?!

Don't shop at Amazon then, simple as that. Comparing pilots to Amazon workers is apples to oranges, it's not even a close comparison.

Not saying I agree with AOC but at least she’s being democratic and not dictatorial (in the Roman sense)
Very true.

No, it isn't scary. Stop being dramatic.

Unions are a necessary evil for pilots because we are eventually stuck with one company for the rest of our careers. I don't know all the ins and outs of unions for other industries, but it's not SCARY to see both sides. What's scary is your black and white view these issues.

You do realize thousands of pilots around the world and in the US work safely in non-union jobs? In fact, outside of the 121 carriers, a minority are union members. We can earn good, middle-class livings and retire well off.

How many union members earn 5x the US median income elsewhere.

Some jobs shouldn't be union. Low skilled labor is one of them and people wonder why both parties turn a blind eye to illegal migration.
