Yep. Millennial. Your snot-nose gave it away.

That, and your electronic logbook.

I have a question regarding logbooks and the airlines.

I used a traditional logbook for all of my flight training up until the day I submitted my IACRA for my CFI checkride. After that point, I have no longer been logging my hours in my paper logbook, but instead I’ve been logging them in Foreflight’s electronic logbook. I’m wondering if I should still be keeping a record in a traditional logbook, or if the regional airlines will be fine with an electronic printout from ForeFlight when I finish my time?

Requirements vary vastly from company to company.
Some just want the last 2 pages of any logbook (printed e-logbook too)
Others want to do a page by page analysis of the whole logbook.

Check the forums for each airline interview experience.

Nobody will ever fault you for bringing a paper logbook. The last few of my interviews, nobody wanted to see the logbooks, though I brought them all.

When that electronic record gets corrupted, what will you do for your record and logbook?

I made an excel spreadsheet. Technically Google Sheets. But either apply. Copied the line items from my paper book. I update both after each flight. When I eventually go to hiring events, I'll bring my books because they're official, but plan on printing copies of my excel sheet as well for each person at the interview. Easy to read, color coded, etc. Simple sum formula handles it all!
