I’ve met too many of those and they’re sorry individuals.

Treat this like a ELEC MAIN BUS reset and change your life for the better not for worse.

It was worth every penny. I upgraded.

Too many variables, so all I can say is take care of your kids (if you have any) first and then take care of yourself. Divorce is hard. Don't make life after it so.

Don't be like the USAir Captain we had back in the early 1990's. His F/A wife divorced him 2 years previously and he still wore his wedding ring. He kept tabs on what she was doing. I was the F/E on a B727 trip. The married F/O was seeing the Captain's ex-wife while on a layover. The next morning USAir got an anonymous call that this F/O had been up late drinking. Also, on this Saturday morning a FAA Mx Inspector showed up and started nit-picking stuff on the jet. I suspect it was tied to the drinking call. Our Captain had to vouch to the Chief Pilot that the F/O was not drunk. Then the F/O found out his wife had received a call about his activities the night prior. F/O had to get off the trip and fly home to take care of business.

Sorry to hear this. It’s remarkable how quickly things can go from great to hating each other.

I’ve never been married, but I have dated three women in my life. That’s it. All three caused major headaches, and I began to realize I’d be better off on my own. I mainly just focus on my career, investments, and hobbies now. I don’t see myself changing this. If you’re someone who has some friends/family to keep you company, this may also work for you. Good luck.
