Looks like a 360 at 100’ AGL.

Let’s back up to 4 miles out, see it coming, deal with it then or sooner.

Nice use of ground effect to conserve some fuel in that gas guzzler!

Best part are the comments about what a skilled and good pilot he is, except for the one "nerd" who says OMG he should have gone around!

Also, I love how "chill" everyone else is, must be standard ops...

FE and FO don't care, its all good!

Imagine that! A pilot who knows how to fly an airplane without Otto Pilot.

Cool vid.

On approach into Mogadishu... Even at 100ft they were likely safer circling over water than they would have been during a go-around in a three holer in broad daylight over that city...

After the controller strike, center would drop you near the airport, how you wanted to handle it was up to you. First time in years doing a procedure turn to an ILS.

This is going to be a very unpopular statement but a lot of airline pilots need to be put in situations where the are forced to turn off the automation and fly the damn airplane. Seems like the minute you go to a big jet those stick and rudder skills go right out the window.

It was funny the first few days, guys calling up the FSS asking about traffic. Response being, "Lemme go look out the window." ATP's totally out of their element. If you were a Bonanza driver on your days off, it was business as usual.
