Driving for Uber

So if you drive for uber is it a bad idea to reveal your a pilot and for what company if asked?

Personally I wouldn’t.
You drive Uber and that’s it.
Scourge of modern society is oversharing.

I wouldn't, unless it came up that the pax was a pilot or otherwise involved in aviation.

If somebody gets the impression (correct or not) you're rich, they might seen an opportunity for a #metoo payday or some other scam lawsuit. A wealthy, over-sexed pilot would make a fat target for a plaintiff's attorney.

Most majors at least would also not be real happy if somebody posts a facebook pic identifying you as their "high-flying" uber driver or some such. And all majors have written policy to enforce it.
