You'd think so but reading thru the forums and talking to pals, surprisingly there are still a come classes moving forward. I don't think any of us are under any illusion though as historically, regardless of the reason, airlines typically hire right up until the date they announce furloughs.

I think by the end of March pretty much all air carrier hiring and new classes will be suspended for 121 as well as 135 and 91k. For now I'm trying to keep the list basically official.

Some regionals may well still hire, they may keep their contractual flying for longer, or not have any interruptions.

Some majors appear to be honoring near-term class dates, probably to avoid totally hosing folks who already quit their last job... they'll likely be unemployed soon enough, but at least will have a seniority number to come back to eventually. Except UAL, they just kick 'em to the curb, and then kick 'em again.

FedEx is still running classes. Cargo seems quite busy, at least for now. Long term could definitely be a different story.

Perhaps we should also add a furlough list too?

-It was too much to read but Compass has furloughs now. I can't tell if they were voluntary or involuntary.

-SkyWest just sent home those still in training postponed or cancelled future classes. I couldn't tell where in training they canceled, but one post mentioned they were suppose to do their MV and it was cancelled. Sent home. Since they have seniority numbers, I'm guessing this counts as furloughed.

-Trans States is officially moving up it's shutdown date to April 1st.

Wow. That would be the first time SkyWest ever furloughed.

Hmmm. I don't see those doing well either with the national freakout.

As of now, XO is interviewing/hiring. We’re very busy but that can change
